Voluntary Disclosures

The CCRA administers a voluntary disclosure program in order to promote voluntary compliance with the reporting of income and the payment of income taxes and GST. Taxpayers can come forward and correct inaccurate or incomplete filings or disclose information that was not previously reported. The program also extends to situations where tax or GST returns were never filed. Provided all of the program conditions are met, the CCRA will waive monetary penalties and prosecution that would otherwise be imposed.

Our services in this area include the following:

Review of tax or GST matter

Preparation of submission to CCRA on a no-names basis

Negotiating settlement with CCRA

Preparation of filings to satisfy compliance and disclosure requirements
